We are currently seeking a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our tax office in Dallas, TX. The primary responsibilities for this role include greeting and assisting clients, answering phone calls, and performing basic administrative tasks. You will work closely with two team members in the office and will receive consistent guidance and support.
This position is seasonal, as our tax preparation office operates from December 15th through the end of tax season in April. We specialize exclusively in personal tax preparation, and roughly 85% of our workload occurs within the first 4–6 weeks. Because of this, full-time in-office presence is required during the first month. After that period, the schedule becomes highly flexible, and many of your tasks can be completed remotely at your convenience. Throughout the season, you will have ongoing assistance and training from our office manager.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide clients with basic information.
- Assist clients with preparing and organizing required documents.
- Perform basic administrative tasks in the office.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Use the internet effectively and demonstrate basic knowledge of Word and Excel.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 per hour
