Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Grant Writer to support the development and submission of educational grants, with a focus on continuing medical education (CME) and oncology programs. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, experience in healthcare education, and the ability to align grant proposals with identified practice gaps and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and write compelling grant proposals for CME/CE-accredited programs
- Align proposals with clinical practice gaps, educational needs, and measurable outcomes
- Collaborate with clinical and program leadership to gather content and supporting data
- Manage timelines for grant submissions and reporting requirements
- Track grant opportunities from pharmaceutical and medical education supporters
- Ensure compliance with ACCME, ANCC, and other regulatory standards
- Assist with post-activity grant reporting and outcomes documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Healthcare, Communications, English, Public Health, or related field preferred)
- Proven experience in grant writing required
- Previous CME grant writing experience strongly preferred
- Oncology experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with ACCME/ANCC standards is a plus
- Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills
- Ability to translate clinical content into clear, compelling proposals
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
