for a talented Custom Cabinetry Sales and Design Specialist to join our growing business.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Custom Cabinetry Sales and Design
Specialist to drive sales and design custom cabinetry solutions for our clients. The ideal
candidate will have a keen eye for design, a passion for interior spaces, and the ability to
communicate effectively with clients to turn their vision into reality, and be hungry to generate
new leads, as well as effectively work incoming leads.
As a key member of our team, you will guide clients through every step of the design and sales
process—from initial consultation to final installation. This is an excellent opportunity for
someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and has a background in
custom cabinetry/ interior design.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Consultation:
o Generate leads using proven methods (some leads provided)
o Meet with clients to discuss their cabinetry needs, preferences, and project
scope.
o Provide expert advice on design, material, and finish options.
o Present product offerings and create tailored quotes and estimates.
o Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and
referrals.
o Collaborate with design assistants and the production team to ensure design
feasibility and project timelines.
Design & Visualization:
o Communicate effectively with design assistants to create custom cabinetry
designs that align with clients' functional and aesthetic goals.
o Present 3D renderings and design mockups to clients for review and approval.
o Revise designs based on client feedback and ensure designs meet the client's
budget and vision.
Project Management:
o Manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
o Coordinate with the design team, production team and installation team to ensure
accurate designs, measurements, and timely delivery.
Marketing & Business Development:
o Generate leads using our proven methods.
o Assist with marketing efforts to promote custom cabinetry offerings.
o Attend industry events and network to generate new leads and business
opportunities.
Requirements:
Experience:
o Proven experience in sales, ideally in custom cabinetry, interior design, or home
improvement.
o Efficiency with cabinetry design software (e.g., Cabinet Vision, Cabinetware,
AutoCAD, 20-20, SketchUp is beneficial but not required. Cabinet Vision a plus.
o Experience working with clients to design and implement custom projects from
concept to completion.
o Willing and able to follow set Lone Pine Cabinet protocols and utilize knowledge
and suggestions offered by the Lone Pine Cabinet team.
Skills:
o Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability
to connect with a wide variety of clients.
o Ability to effectively direct design assistants to achieve accurate designs that will
meet the needs of clients.
o Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to meet client
needs.
o Cabinetry and industry product knowledge.
o Strong organizational and project management skills.
Education:
o A degree or certification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is
preferred but not required (experience in the industry is heavily considered).
o A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Custom Cabinetry industry.
Additional Qualifications:
o Passion for interior design and a keen eye for detail.
o Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
o A positive attitude and a strong desire to provide exceptional customer service.
o Must have reliable transport and be willing to drive to Summit County, Salt Lake
County, Utah County and attend weekly sales meetings in person in West
Jordan.
o Personal computer or laptop. 2 monitors are beneficial.
