Luxury Watch Service Advisor
Overview:
London Jewelers is a premier jewelry business, family owned and operated for over 95 years. We continue to set the standard for quality and service in providing customers with the finest selection of diamonds, designer jewelry, fine timepieces and gifts, presented in a luxurious style and setting with superior customer service. We are seeking a Watch Service Advisor in one of our luxury watch boutiques.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome clients with professionalism, assess service needs, and document repair requests. Uphold company image by maintaining professional demeanor at all times in person, via email and telephone.
- Prepare intake forms, verify warranty status, and ensure accurate descriptions of timepiece condition.
- Conduct preliminary inspections (visual checks, functional tests) to identify service requirements before forwarding to brand service center.
- Provide clear timelines, explain service procedures, and maintain proactive contact with clients throughout the repair journey.
- Ensure proper packaging, secure shipment and accurate tracking of timepieces.
- Uphold boutique hospitality, ensuring every service interaction reflects company values
- Follow strict protocols for handling high-value items, including intake verification, insurance documentation, and secure storage.
- Stay current on all service policies, warranty guidelines, and technical updates to advise clients accurately.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Luxury watch retail industry experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to explain technical processes in client-friendly language
- Detail orientated for accurate documentation and handling of high-value items
- Technical curiosity about horology and mechanical timepieces
- Professional demeanor aligned with luxury brand standards
- Ability to manage multiple service requests while maintaining accuracy and discretion
