Senior Accounting Operations Specialist

A growing global manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Accounting Operations Specialist to support both financial operations and customer service functions. This is a newly created role that blends accounting responsibilities with customer care and operational support.

What You’ll Do

Accounting (50%)

• Process customer invoices and ensure billing accuracy across service, parts, and product sales.
• Manage full AP cycle, banking transactions, and expense report reviews.
• Support month-end close: journal entries, reconciliations, credit card activity, reporting.
• Assist with sales tax filings and annual state filings.
• Partner with the Accounting Supervisor on special projects and ad-hoc requests.

Customer Care Operations (50%)

• Provide administrative support to customer care and technical service teams.
• Maintain accurate data and billing information in Salesforce.
• Assist with service scheduling and Concur expense coordination.
• Facilitate biweekly technician hours reporting for payroll.
• Support spare parts tracking and customer billing inquiries.
• Provide operational support as needed to Customer Care leadership.

What They’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with SAP required.
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting workflows.
• Strong communication skills, a team-oriented approach, and high energy.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-changing environment.
