As Controller, you will be the most senior accounting leader beneath the CFO/COO. This is a hands-on role overseeing all accounting functions while also owning major strategic finance initiatives, including:
Responsibilities
Accounting & Reporting
- Lead monthly/quarterly close, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance
- Maintain strong controls, reconciliations, and audit readiness
- Manage cash flow, treasury, and forecasting
ERP Transition (QB → NetSuite)
- Lead the accounting workstream for the 2026 NetSuite implementation
- Oversee mapping, data migration, workflow optimization, testing, and SOP creation
- Train the team and drive adoption post–go-live
Financial Strategy
- Run forecasting, budgeting, scenario modeling, and long-term planning
- Support pricing strategy, margin analysis, and commercial finance decisions
Costing & Inventory
- Own costing accuracy, SKU-level margin performance, and yield tracking
- Work closely with co-manufacturing partners
- Implement standard costing and real-time inventory visibility
Automation & AI
- Identify opportunities to use automation or AI tools to improve reporting, dashboards, and forecasting
- Streamline workflows and improve modeling efficiency
Qualifications
- 7 years progressive accounting experience
- Consumer Packaged Goods / Food & Beverage manufacturing experience required
- Strong costing inventory background
- Experience in small or midsize, fast-growth environments
- ERP experience (NetSuite highly preferred; implementation experience is a major plus)
- Strong Excel modeling skills
Salary : $130,000 - $170,000
