JOB TITLE: Office Assistant-Full Time
Job Summary:
Provides customer service to members and guests by greeting and directing them in person and on the telephone. Assists Accounting Department with various job duties as needed.
Note: Co-workers in this job classification will generally be scheduled to work, on average, at least 38.5 hours per week Sunday through Thursday.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following
Acknowledges, greets and thanks all members and guests.
Answers incoming calls, takes messages, transfers calls, and makes reservations as needed
Handles escalated member/guest service issues in a prompt and effective manner
Submission of Accounts Payable invoices as needed
Additional Responsibilities
Serves the needs of members and guests by offering assistance, information, directions, etc.
Maintains an orderly reception area by organizing workspace and maintaining general supplies
Provides assistance to other departments by performing administrative tasks
Implements and supports all Troon initiatives and programs as requested by management
Other duties may be assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications and Skill Requirements
High school diploma and 2 years of related experience in customer service, hospitality or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to operate the following equipment: computer, fax machine, copy machine
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have an even demeanor, be outgoing, friendly and proactive
Valid driver’s license is required
Microsoft Office Experience a plus
