Our Distribution Center in South Dallas (Lancaster area) is seeking Cycle Counters for full-time opportunities.
Job Overview
The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels by performing scheduled and unscheduled physical counts, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and ensuring data accuracy in the inventory system. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and a commitment to process integrity and warehouse safety standards.
Duties
- Counts and tracks physical inventory
- Maintains accurate records of counts and frequency of counts
- Communicates any variances or inventory discrepancies to management
- Records inventory counts in the accounting system
- Investigate and reconcile variances in inventory
- Ensure accuracy of information in the system and compliance with internal controls
- Document counts in the system and generate variance reports.
- Perform all duties according to company policy and procedures
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- 1 years of inventory control, cycle counting, or distribution center experience.
- Experience with inventory reconciliation and documentation.
- Able to be certified to operate equipment such as scissor lifts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent math and calculation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Able to work independently and take initiative.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be detail-oriented and accurate in data entry and report generation.
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
