Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Yoga Instructor to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in yoga practices and be committed to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for students of all levels. This role requires an individual who can educate participants on the principles of yoga, anatomy, and physiology while promoting overall health and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging and safe yoga classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring all participants feel welcome and supported.
- Educate students on proper alignment, breathing techniques, and the benefits of yoga practices.
- Develop class plans that incorporate elements of dance, group fitness, Pilates, and cycle as appropriate.
- Provide modifications and adjustments to accommodate individual needs and abilities.
- Foster a sense of community among participants through encouragement and support.
- Maintain a clean and organized studio environment before, during, and after classes.
- Stay updated on current trends in yoga, fitness, anatomy, physiology, and program design to enhance class offerings.
Experience
- 2 Years of previous experience as a Yoga Instructor or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential for teaching safe practices.
- Experience in dance or group fitness instruction is a plus.
- Familiarity with personal training principles can enhance the instructional approach.
- Ability to design effective programs that cater to diverse groups of individuals.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
