Duties
- Develop and implement engaging dance lessons tailored to the skill levels and interests of students.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and teamwork.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively to ensure all students are participating and learning.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their performance and progress.
- Collaborate with other instructors to create a cohesive curriculum that meets educational standards.
- Organize and participate in dance performances, recitals, or showcases to highlight student achievements.
- Maintain communication with director regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise.
Skills
- Experience working with students across various age groups, particularly ages 3-15.
- Strong lesson planning abilities that cater to different learning styles.
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Background in special education is a plus, enabling the instructor to support diverse learners.
- Knowledge of curriculum development for dance education is advantageous.
- Photography skills are beneficial for documenting student performances and events.
- A passion for educating others about dance while fostering an appreciation for the art form.

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- dance training: 3 years (Preferred)
- Working with children: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
