Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Job Summary
Lohrengel & Associates is hiring a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to lead marketing, branding, and membership growth initiatives for non-profit trade organizations. This role is ideal for a creative self-starter who thrives with ownership, autonomy, and the freedom to turn strategy into execution.
The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing coordinator, communication specialist, or digital marketing professional with strong design skills who enjoys managing campaigns end-to-end, driving growth, and promoting brand engagement.
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will play a dual role, acting as both an individual contributor and a leader of a small marketing team. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach to managing campaigns and initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Develop Marketing Strategy: Manage marketing content, themes, production, and distribution based on client objectives.
- Leadership: Manage and mentor other team members to deliver consistent and compelling marketing and communication. Provide guidance and support to achieve team goals.
- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and analyze marketing campaigns to ensure they meet objectives and deliver ROI. Stay abreast of industry trends to contribute insights and recommend best practices.
- Brand Management: Maintain and enhance the company's brand image through consistent messaging and visual identity (sales/marketing collateral, presentations, events, advertising, public relations, email marketing, and online/social media.)
- Engagement Development: Increase client membership, event participation, and sponsorship sales through outreach and effective marketing and communication strategies.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, using data to make informed decisions and optimize strategies.
- Research: Conduct customer, brand, and product research to inform strategic decisions.
- Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Other responsibilities or duties as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field
- 3 years of experience in a marketing coordinator, marketing specialist, or other marketing role
- Proven ability to work independently and manage projects from concept to completion
- Experience with email marketing and communication platforms (Constant Contact or similar)
- Familiarity with marketing tools, Google Analytics, and AMS platforms
- Experience with website platforms such as Squarespace
- Strong design, layout, and typography skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications and company operational systems, social media, word processing, image creation, SEO tools, and content management systems.
- Experience building and executing B2B marketing campaigns.
Preferred Skills
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
- Photography or video editing experience
- Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Canva
