JOB SUMMARY: The Coordinator will play a vital role in managing the flow of materials, goods, and information throughout our organization. This position requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure the efficient and accurate handling of logistics operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products within the Stores department.
- Plan and execute the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring on-time delivery and accuracy in inventory records.
- Job issuing and job closing
- Identify and make inventory discrepancy adjustments
- Stores, Shipping, and Receiving trainer
- Maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and reorder materials when necessary to avoid shortages.
- Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs documents when required.
- Collaborate with the Area Manager and other department heads to optimize warehouse and storage space utilization.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics, such as on-time delivery and inventory accuracy.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and assist with periodic inventory audits.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal departments and external suppliers, addressing inquiries and concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles, as well as relevant software tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Familiarity with safety and quality regulations.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other logistics software.
- Forklift or other relevant equipment operation certification may be required.
- Must have basic reading and writing skills in the English language.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Will need the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Must be proficient at Microsoft Office products and possess adequate skill to navigate and work within company’s ERP Software.
