Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full Truckload (FTL, TL) Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely across various routes. Responsibilities
- Operate a full truckload vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
- Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, transportation, and customer service.
- Manage routes effectively to optimize delivery times while ensuring compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in full truckload transportation.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high productivity levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during transport.
