Description:
Logistics One Warehousing is looking for a Warehouse Clerk/Customer Service associate with experience in distribution, warehousing, and shipping/receiving. This is a great opportunity to get involved with a company that has thrived in logistics, warehousing, and brokerage services for 30yrs in the North East Region.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Understand and develop knowledge of customers, performance criteria, products and inventories. Work with manager and warehouse staff on inventory accuracy, customer communications, billing issues, scheduling of in-bound/out bound customers.
- Enter data regarding inventory shipments, orders, goods in/out, accurately into Warehouse system, Schedule deliveries/shipments, arrange for incoming and outgoing product and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
- Process and distribute workload through WMS to equipment operators
- Physical checking/verifying of loads on shipping dock.
- Checking in/out carriers picking up loads
- Other job duties or project as assigned by management.
Other Details:
- Pay: $23 per hour. Overtime over 40 hours.
- Shift: Days 6am - 6pm - 3 & 4 day weekly rotating schedule.
- Training: Initial position would be conducted for first two weeks on a Mon-Friday based schedule.
- Requirements: Experience: We are seeking a candidate with 1-2 yrs of Customer Service experience within a warehousing environment directly involved in working with warehouse staff and inventory. Requires the ability to handle several tasks at one time accurately and efficiently. This can be a fast-paced position; the Incumbent will maintain the customer database and dispatch system on a real-time basis, confirm appointments, follow-up on deliveries and billing issues, etc.
