About The Role
The Fleet Manager ensures the delivery of contracted fleet management services for their assigned accounts. You proactively maximize the value of such services (e.g., reducing customers' costs, increasing their asset utilization, improving process efficiencies) for assigned accounts, thereby growing Logisnext’s business and reinforcing our relationship with the customer. You will resolve customer fleet issues utilizing Logisnext resources. The Fleet Manager negotiates both customer and dealer-facing services agreements while ensuring Logisnext dealer compliance. You will assist in developing proposals for new customers and complete assigned projects that enhance the department's capabilities to provide fleet services to customers.

About The Role

What You Will Do
- Ensure the delivery of contracted fleet management services for their assigned accounts, including monitoring and following up on dealer compliance with service agreements. Resolve customer fleet issues utilizing Logisnext's resources.
- Grow Logisnext's business and reinforce our relationship with customers by proactively maximizing the value of fleet management services (e.g., reducing customers' costs, increasing asset utilization, improving process efficiencies) for assigned accounts.
- Participate in key accounts receivable or accounts payable functions, including invoicing, collections, and troubleshooting of challenged or disputed customer and dealer invoices.
- Assist and or lead the development of proposals for new customers. Negotiate both customer and dealer-facing services agreements.
- Complete assigned projects that improve the department's capabilities to provide fleet services to customers.
- Hybrid position based out of Grand Rapids, MI
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2 to 7 years’ experience.
- Driven, Self-Reliant, Self-Starting individual.
- Intermediate level of material handling equipment, product, and applications knowledge.
- Knowledge of fleet management concepts and metrics (e.g., CPH, Utilization %, 4-R's, etc.).
- Intermediate level data analysis capability using MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel, MS Power Apps, and MS Access or other database platforms.
- Intermediate experience using the overall MS Office Suite, MS Teams, and MS Teams-related applications.
- Intermediate or better written and verbal communication skills.
- Actively pursue knowledge of new industry technologies that can add value for our customers.
- Ability to effectively negotiate using common negotiating tactics.
- Experience managing capital assets
- Direct experience with managing material handling equipment fleets
- Experience using ERP systems with asset management functions and or formal fleet reporting software
- Basic understanding of dealer service operations (dispatch, work order/invoice processes, etc.)
- Basic understanding of accounting practices, financing/leasing principles, and use of a financial calculator

Salary : $60,500 - $80,000
