We are looking for a full or part-time Cashier who enjoys working with the public and has a friendly, outgoing personality. As a team-oriented company, we seek an individual who can be flexible with work hours. The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and displays a positive attitude when interacting with customers and employees. Available hours 2pm-10pm
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Stock shelves and ensure product displays are organized and appealing.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register
- Basic math skills and retail math knowledge
- Experience in retail sales and stocking merchandise
- Familiarity with POS systems and phone etiquette
- Ability to work in a liquor store environment
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Supervisory experience is advantageous
