What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intense Instructional Assistant - Essential Skills Classroom position at Logansport Community School Corporation?
Job Description:
- Directly responsible to a classroom teacher and the program supervisor.
- Provide individual/small group instruction as planned by the teacher.
- 5.75 hours a day Monday-Friday
Job Requirements:
- Maintain a positive attitude towards students and the program.
- Follow the assigned work schedule.
- Develop rapport with students.
- Respect confidentiality and follow safety procedures.
- Lifting students as demonstrated by teacher and/or therapist.
Job Qualifications:
- 60 earned college credit hours or Paraprofessional Certification (if you do not have these qualifications yet, please see attached certification information)
- Complete and clear all pre-employment drug testing
- Complete an Indiana background check requirement for school Personnel
