Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Manage the bar area efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization at all times.
- Utilize Toast POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly, adhering to all food safety and serving regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and tracking usage.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours, especially during banquets or catering events.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service in a fine dining or nightclub setting.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or food service within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with Toast POS systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Experience in brewing, catering, or banquet settings is advantageous.
