Job Title: Overnight Dispatcher
Location: Des Moines, IA

We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 6 locations. As a Night Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth overnight operations by coordinating driver departures, monitoring routes, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining accurate records. You’ll communicate with drivers, assist with logistics, and send timely updates to ensure efficient deliveries.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Midnight till 8:30 AM
Pay: $19.00/hour with potential for a $1/hour increase after 90 days based on attendance and performance.

What you’ll do:
- Print and prepare driver packets, including manifests, invoices, and route details
- Monitor driver departures, address delays, and assist with truck or route issues
- Track routes in real time and resolve missed stops or other discrepancies
- Communicate schedule updates and status reports to the appropriate teams
- Assist with sorting paperwork, dispatching shuttles, and completing end-of-shift reports
