Basic Functions
Operate and maintain District swimming pools and adjacent areas in a clean and orderly condition. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE OF Methods, materials and equipment involved in the maintenance and operation of District swimming pools. Proper use of pool maintenance chemicals. Tools and basic practices of routine building maintenance work. Safety rules and their application as related to pool operation and maintenance methods, practices and equipment, including public health requirements. ABILITY TO Operate and maintain pools and related equipment in accordance with prescribed standards. Read and understand chemical labels and instructions. Maintain schedules required for proper pool maintenance. Operate maintenance equipment. Perform heavy physical labor. Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
