About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified General Surgery MD in Nebraska!
Our client in Nebraska is seeking a skilled General Surgeon for an 84-day assignment starting Jul 6, 2026. This role involves a 7 on/7 off schedule with outpatient clinic days, OR days, and weekend call. The Physician will handle a variety of cases including clinic visits, OR procedures for gallbladder, hernia, bowel obstruction, and appendix, excluding C-sections and scopes.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide coverage for outpatient clinic during the week and perform OR days.
- Participate in weekend call schedule.
- Manage cases involving clinic visits, OR days, gallbladder, hernia, bowel obstruction, and appendix.
- Note: This position does not include C-sections or scopes.
- Adhere to a 7 on/7 off schedule with 24-hour call.
- Work hours generally 8a-5p during clinic/OR days.
