We are seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our client in Washington for a 60-day assignment starting May 11, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient care focusing on primary care visits, acute care needs, and chronic disease management. The schedule is typically 8 AM to 5 PM daily, ensuring continuity of care for a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide primary care visits, including preventative care, wellness exams, and chronic disease management for conditions like diabetes and hypertension.
- Manage acute care needs, addressing minor injuries, infections, respiratory issues, and urgent walk-in cases.
- Offer support for behavioral health concerns such as depression, anxiety, and substance use, where applicable.
- Perform basic gynecological care, screenings, and family planning services, depending on scope.
- Conduct routine pediatric check-ups and manage common childhood illnesses, if within provider scope.
- Handle various procedures including toenail removal, suturing, I&Ds, Nexplanon insertion and removal (with on-site training), and wound care.
- Participate in the MAT program and provide culturally competent care, supporting underserved and tribal health initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with on-site clinical staff and contribute to care coordination efforts.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system, adhering strictly to clinic protocols.
