Our client in Washington is actively seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join their team for a 60-day assignment, commencing Jul 15, 2026. This pivotal role involves performing a comprehensive range of complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including coronary artery bypass, valvular repair, and aneurysm repair, while expertly managing patient care within a dynamic clinical environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform a comprehensive range of cardiothoracic surgical procedures and provide expert patient management.
- Execute general cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries, including open and endoscopic approaches.
- Conduct coronary artery bypass surgery, both on-pump and off-pump.
- Undertake valvular repair and replacement procedures.
- Perform cardiac and aorto-thoracic aneurysm repair.
- Provide Impella 5.5 implant and support, and conduct aortic valve conservation procedures.
- Manage ventilation, evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues.
- Insert central lines, arterial lines, PA catheters, and intra-aortic balloon pumps.
