This cancer center operates as part of a large healthcare system and provides specialized hematology and oncology services within a structured outpatient clinical environment. The facility is supported by a team that includes three physicians, one APP, a dedicated RN Care Coordinator, and additional support staff to facilitate coordinated oncologic care delivery. Established clinical protocols are in place to support quality hematologic and oncologic care on a locum tenens basis.

The region surrounding this assignment offers clinicians access to a range of natural and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Outdoor recreation is available year-round, including scenic lakes, trails, and expansive natural preserves. Cultural destinations, historic sites, and regional parks provide additional options for those seeking to explore the area during their assignment.

Clinicians will provide on-site outpatient hematology and oncology coverage, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a half-day allocated for administrative tasks. The position is primarily outpatient in nature; the APP on staff manages most inpatient care, and the clinician may be consulted for occasional inpatient cases. Call coverage is required as a component of this assignment and is structured at a 1:4 ratio. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the Epic EMR system for patient encounters and treatment planning activities.
