About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Optometry MD in Montana!
We are seeking a skilled Optometrist for a 240-day assignment in Montana. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, where you will provide comprehensive eye care services, including routine exams for all ages, contact lens fittings, and the diagnosis and management of various ocular conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform comprehensive eye exams
- Conduct contact lens fittings and training
- Perform diabetic eye exams
- Monitor and manage glaucoma
- Evaluate and manage dry eye conditions
- Diagnose and treat red eye/conjunctivitis
- Conduct foreign body evaluations and removals
- Provide post-operative cataract/LASIK co-management
- Offer vision therapy and low vision services
- Manage urgent care cases, including flashes, floaters, and eye pain
