About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Optometry MD in Montana!
We are seeking a skilled Optometrist for a 90-day assignment with our client in Montana, beginning Nov 9, 2026. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., where appointment lengths vary from 15-45 minutes depending on the specific case.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage all primary care cases for patients ranging from infant to elder.
- Address urgent issues requiring medical or therapeutic management, including traumas, post-operative care, glaucoma, macular degeneration, uveitis, and diabetic retinopathy.
- Perform procedures such as lash epilation, punctual dilation and irrigation, corneal and conjunctival foreign body removals, and application of bandage contact lenses and pressure patches.

- Required Board Certification: Optometry
- EMR: RPMS
- No ophthalmology services are available on site; the nearest ophthalmologist is over 100 miles away.
