Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN)
• Active Arizona medical license or eligibility via IMLC
• Valid DEA license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent OB/GYN experience with labor & delivery
• Ability to provide case logs and recent work history
• COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Ability to complete credentialing within 15–20 days
• Mandatory Cerner EMR training prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN coverage during 24-hour night call shifts as a hospitalist OB/GYN
• Manage labor and delivery cases (average 1–3 deliveries per shift)
• Respond to callbacks and obstetric/gynecologic emergencies (approximately 4–8 callback hours per shift)
• Collaborate with hospital staff, nursing, and ancillary services to ensure high-quality patient care
• Document thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records in Cerner EMR
• Participate in required orientation, credentialing, and Cerner training
