• Clinical Setting: Hospital – 100% Adult Inpatient Neurology (hospital-based neurologist)
• Start Date: June 29, 2026 (8:00 AM)
• End Date: July 12, 2026 (6:00 PM)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (8a-8p), with rotating weekday and weekend call coverage
• Duration: Approximately 2 weeks (June 29, 2026 to July 12, 2026)
• Average Patient Load: 10-20 hospital-based patients per day
• Practice Support: 2 neurologists and 3 advanced practice providers
• EMR: Epic
• Location: Cincinnati, OH 45255 — eastern Cincinnati neighborhood with parks, dining, and community amenities

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Board Certified in Neurology (Board Certified Neurologist)
• Active Ohio medical license required (IMLC accepted)
• ACLS certification
• Self-query NPDB report dated within 30 days of application
• Clean file required for temporary privileges
• Availability for listed dates (June 29 – July 12, 2026)
• Minimum 1 year of neurology experience required (inpatient neurology experience preferred)

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient neurology care for adult patients as the hospital-based neurologist
• Manage acute stroke and administer thrombolytic therapy when indicated
• Interpret radiologic exams (unofficial reads) relevant to neurology cases
• Perform EEG (electroencephalogram) and EMG (electromyogram) procedures
• Conduct brain death examinations and complete associated documentation
• Collaborate closely with other neurologists, hospital physicians, nursing staff, and advanced practice providers
• Document clinical encounters and orders in Epic EMR
• Participate in rotating weekday and weekend call coverage as scheduled
