• Support Staff: APP coverage typically 8a-12p, PA-C assistance in AM

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered (Airfare, lodging, parking, mileage, rental car, ground transportation)
• Lodging Cap: $175/night at non-preferred hotels (no incidentals permitted)
• Airfare: Economy seating, no upgrades, 1 checked bag
• Rental Car: Mid-size car (Apr–Nov, $75/day cap) | Mid-size 4WD SUV (Dec–Mar, $100/day cap)

• Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs)
• Cardioversions

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Active PA License or IMLC
• BC in Cardiology
• DEA
• ACLS, BLS
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty
• Proficiency with Epic and Cerner

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide IP & OP cardiology care
• Cover weekday clinic, weeknight call, and/or 24-hr weekend call
• Conduct IP rounding, consults, TEEs, cardioversions, and image readings
• Proctor stress tests occasionally
• Collaborate with APPs and PA-Cs for patient management
• Respond to calls, with most handled via phone triage; rare in-person stat TEE for dissection
