Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified Anesthesiologists for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity at a major regional medical center in Pensacola, Florida.
This assignment places physicians within a large, highly structured anesthesia department supporting a Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center with extensive surgical capabilities. Providers will collaborate with a robust CRNA team within a care team model while maintaining opportunities for direct case involvement.

Schedule Structure
- Multiple coverage shifts are utilized within the department, including:
- Day shifts
- Evening coverage
- Night coverage
- Weekend coverage
- Call responsibilities may include 12-hour call coverage depending on departmental needs.
- Provide anesthesia care across multiple procedural areas including OR suites, trauma rooms, interventional suites, and obstetrics.
- Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs within a care team model.
- Support trauma and emergency surgical services when required.
- Participate in high-acuity surgical programs within a tertiary referral center.
- Ensure accurate documentation within Cerner EMR.
- Board Certified Anesthesiologist
- Active Florida Medical License
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Experience practicing within a care team model preferred
- Comfort managing complex cases in a trauma center environment
- Experience with pediatric anesthesia strongly preferred
- Experience with high-risk obstetric anesthesia preferred
Providers must reside outside a 45-mile / one-hour radius from the facility to qualify for this locum assignment.
