We are seeking a Cardiovascular & Thoracic Physician Assistant for a 24-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia. This opportunity begins on Nov 5, 2025, with 24/7 call coverage and 7a-7a shifts. The ideal candidate will assist in vein harvesting, provide clinic and inpatient rounding, and work alongside a CT surgeon in the CVOR as First Assist.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 24/7 call coverage as part of the cardiovascular and thoracic team
- See patients in the clinic setting
- Round on inpatients
- Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) with the CT surgeon
- Perform vein harvesting during procedures and function as First Assist
Additional Information
- Must hold a current Virginia license
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Required board certifications: Cardiac Surgery Certification - Adult (CSC) and Cardiology
- Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR preferred
- Must have experience in vein harvesting
