Ongoing Oncology APP Assignment - Low Call - South Carolina
Practice Setting
- Mixed setting with both Inpatient and Outpatient responsibilities
- Patient Ages: Adult and Geriatric
- Work with a collaborative team of 8 MDs and 4 PAs/NPs
- Anticipated patient volume: 15 outpatient and 20 inpatient encounters per day
Schedule
- Block Scheduling: Consistent Monday-Friday scheduled clinical hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
- Low Call Responsibility: Predictable 1 in 5-6 week call rotation
- Call includes first call for patient/hospital calls, plus on-site inpatient rounding on Saturday and Sunday
Procedures and Cases
- Management of Bone Marrow Transplants
- Responsible for Blood Bank, Orders Tests, and Orders Images
- Prescribes Administration of Chemotherapy: Nurse Oncologist
Requirements
- Required to be Board Certified in Oncology
- Required Certifications: BLS and DEA
- Must possess or be able to obtain a South Carolina State Licensure
Credentialing Requirements
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days
