- Seen as Subject Matter Expert by core teams and/or clients, as well as team members, carrier partners and Lockton leadership
- Manages associates and supports their needs and development
- Oversees full office/series book of business to ensure timelines are met, carrier placement metrics are in line and no E&O liability
- Point of contact for escalations related to case specific questions/issues
- Responsibility related to growth (build relationship and working parameters with growth team)
- Proven ability to take initiative in terms of innovation and growth
- Promotes and supports new practice initiatives
- Weekly leadership meetings and cross practice collaboration required
- Able to peer review all deliverables
- Manages carrier relationships at a local and leadership level
- Provides input related to overall practice business plan
- Overall book of business management and staffing
- Collaboration across series/offices with regards to marketing, placement and policy management
- Able and willing to share knowledge gained across the practice to promote better collaboration
- Owns Series Stewardship reporting and delivering of results
- Assistance with process efficiency projects and future practice initiatives
- Completes Phase 3 of Audits
- Represents Lockton in any situation with high standards as officer of company
- Responsible for reputation of trustworthiness and integrity of the practice within the industry
- Obtain/maintain license
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent
- 7 years of Health Insurance Consulting
- 5 years of Stop Loss experience
- Previous Management experience, management of a regional or national team is preferred
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
- Demonstrates strong working knowledge and experience within brokerage industry
- Understands industry trends and governmental regulations
- Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions
- Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of Client and company information
- Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time to meet deadlines
- Legally able to work in the United States
