- Lead efforts to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the Stop Loss Carrier Consulting business to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share goals.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic direction.
- Build and expand relationships with key stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
- Drive cross-selling and upselling initiatives within existing client accounts.
- Lead strategic consulting engagements and client stewardship to deliver maximum value to carrier client business and distribution strategy.
- Collaborate with product development and technology teams to design solutions tailored to the unique challenges of the insurance industry.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and market trends to ensure offerings remain competitive and compliant.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of professionals within the practice.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients within the insurance sector.
- Ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction through proactive communication and effective problem-solving.
- Monitor and assess completed projects to ensure that benefits are realized and contribute to ongoing performance optimization.
- Represent Lockton and the Carrier Consulting business at industry events, conferences and on advisory boards where appropriate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving growth, building strategic partnerships, and delivering innovative solutions.
- Strong understanding of the insurance value chain, including underwriting, claims, distribution, and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and lead cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of driving business growth, managing large teams, and improving operational efficiencies.
- Strong experience in underwriting, claims management, risk assessment, and insurance product development.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance market trends, regulatory environment, and customer needs.
