Primary job functions include:
- Prepare Canadian commercial insurance invoices in Epic agency management system
- Perform data quality checks and provide account teams with process guidance and status updates
- Work with tax teams to ensure accurate data capture and tax filings
- Assist with accounting reconciliations and quality controls between systems
- Deliver timely and effective client service to internal account teams
- Complete other technical and clerical duties as assigned
- Participate in educational and knowledge training opportunities
The most qualified candidate will possess the following:
- Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field and/or equivalent education and work experience
- Working knowledge of general accounting terms and principles
- General understanding of commercial property and casualty coverages (Canadian-specific experience preferred)
- Experience with Applied Epic is preferred but not required
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and work in a deadline driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Have a passion for providing the highest level of service to clients and fellow associates
- Strong numerical reasoning and aptitude skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office products
- Professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of Associates and/or Clients
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
