Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead and oversee the preparation and review of income tax returns for individuals, partnerships/LLCs, S Corporations, C Corporations, trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations.
- Maintain and grow strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.
- Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing training and development.
- Research and interpret complex income tax laws to provide solutions for clients.
- Ensure high-quality work while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Oversee compliance with firm policies and applicable tax regulations.
- Collaborate with partners and senior leadership on client strategy and firm initiatives.
Qualifications Needed:
• CPA license required
• Master’s in Taxation preferred
• Minimum 8 years of public accounting experience in income tax preparation, with at least 5 years at the tax manager level
• Comprehensive understanding of income tax laws
• Experience in tax research and interpretation of complex tax issues
• Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff
• Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work extended hours during tax season
Salary : $120,000 - $175,000
