Film Catering Setup
Busy film catering company is hiring dependable Setup Crew Member to support our on-location catering operations.
We're looking for hardworking people who enjoy staying busy, solving problems, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
Dates: July through December 10, 2026
Position: Part-time / Seasonal, with opportunity for future full-time employment
What You'll Do
This position is responsible for the daily setup, organization, and packing/upkeep of mobile catering equipment.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading catering trucks every day
- Packing and organizing equipment, supplies and product
- Maintaining inventory, keeping equipment clean and staying organized
- Setting up and breaking down catering operations on location
- Running food, beverages, and supplies throughout the day
- Assisting with light food prep and kitchen support when needed
- Driving company vehicles between locations (when assigned)
- Keeping work areas clean, organized, and production-ready
- Solving problems quickly in a fast-moving production environment
- Working closely with the catering team to keep service running efficiently
This Job Is Physically Demanding

- Very early call times (as early as 2:00 AM)
- Being on your feet all day
- Constant lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
- Repeatedly lifting 50 pounds
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Moving quickly throughout the day with little downtime
- Traveling to production sites, including rural locations

Preferred Experience
Experience is helpful but not required. Applicants with experience in any of the following are encouraged to apply:
- Catering or food service
- Event setup and breakdown
- Production or film industry
- Commercial kitchens
- Moving, construction, or other physically demanding work
Utah proof of residency required.
Reliable transportation is required, as call times are often very early and job sites may be in rural areas.
Pay: Overtime available. Daily overtime paid at 1.5× after 8 hours (through 14 hours).
