About The Garden Gate
The Garden Gate Event Center is a family-owned wedding and event venue in downtown Bountiful, Utah. We officially opened in April 2026 and are building something special.
We specialize in creating beautiful, welcoming, and memorable experiences for weddings, celebrations, corporate events, and other special occasions. Our goal is to make every event feel genuine, simple, and memorable—for our clients, their families, and their guests.

About the Position
We are looking for an energetic, dependable, and friendly Event & Catering Team Member to join our team.
This is an entry-level position, so previous wedding or catering experience is not required. We are looking for people with a great attitude who enjoy working with others, staying busy, and being part of creating special moments for people.
You will gain hands-on experience in food service, catering, weddings, events, and guest service.
We take pride in creating experiences that people will remember for years to come.
What You'll Do
- Assist with wedding receptions, ceremonies, parties, corporate events, and other special events
- Break down tables, chairs, linens, décor, and event spaces
- Assist with food preparation, buffet service, plated service, and catering operations
- Serve food and beverages while providing friendly and professional guest service
- Keep dining and event spaces clean, organized, and looking their best
- Help with dishes, kitchen cleanup, and general food-service duties
- Assist the event team throughout the event to make sure everything runs smoothly
- Help welcome guests and provide a positive experience
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, and venue procedures

- Physically able to stand for extended periods and assist with lifting and moving event equipment

Previous experience in restaurants, catering, hospitality, weddings, or customer service is a plus, but not required.
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
