LocalNet Internet Services, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to manage the movement, tracking, and distribution of network equipment, installation materials, and operational assets. This role supports field technicians, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely deployment of internet services and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate delivery and distribution of networking equipment, routers, modems, cabling, and installation materials.
- Track inventory levels across warehouses, service vehicles, and field locations.
- Schedule shipments and manage relationships with carriers and suppliers.
- Monitor order fulfillment for customer installations and service upgrades.
- Maintain accurate logistics and inventory records in tracking systems.
- Collaborate with field technicians and operations teams to ensure equipment availability.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documentation.
- Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies or delays.
- Assist in forecasting equipment needs based on service demand.
- Support compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business preferred.
- Previous experience in logistics, inventory control, telecommunications, or operations coordination preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory or ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
