Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Assistance Manager/Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. You will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance, managing stock levels, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services.
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, processing transactions and handling cash.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, product offerings, and store policies to effectively communicate with customers.
- Stock showroom and organize merchandise to ensure a neat and inviting shopping environment.
- Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote sales.
- Utilize basic math skills for retail math calculations, ensuring accurate pricing and inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Uphold phone etiquette when addressing customer calls or inquiries.
- Assist manager with day-to-day operations as needed
Experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems; training will be provided for those unfamiliar.
- Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and stock management.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new products and sales techniques is highly valued.
