The Role:
Local Leap Marketing is searching for a part time Customer Support Specialist to assist customers with ongoing website maintenance needs and to create search engine optimized content for web pages. The ideal candidate has experience with updating websites, is detail-oriented, has strong written communication skills, and above everything else, values excellent customer service.
Working primarily from home, this role focuses on monitoring our help desk, ensuring that our clients receive timely and effective support for website maintenance updates and issues. This role also assists with creating engaging content for client websites and building simple web pages with this content, using SEO best practices. The selected individual must be available for in-person staff meetings every Friday.

Required Experience:
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a marketing agency
- Strong technical understanding of websites and common issues
- Proficient in spreadsheets and editing documents in Google Suite
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills
- A self-starter who can prioritize multiple tasks to complete them in a timely way
- We are currently working remotely. Must have high-speed internet service.
- Must be local to the Murphy, TX area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Helpdesk Ticket Management: Efficiently prioritize and resolve incoming support tickets involving a wide variety of website updates and content changes.
- Copywriting: Write clear, engaging content for client websites, using best practices for search engine optimization.
- Simple Web Design: Display written content in an organized and attractive way, in keeping with the overall website design.
- Client Communication: Maintain professional, friendly, and clear communication with clients, ensuring they are kept informed of the status and progress of their tickets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Customer Support team to ensure that client needs are addressed.
- Continuous Improvement: We value your insight. Provide feedback on recurring issues and suggest improvements to enhance the overall customer experience or simplify your workflow.
