Job Description
CASINO CAGE CASHIER ~HELPFUL TO KNOW MAIN BANK
Responsible for carrying out a variety of transactions in a casino cashier’s cage.
Cage cashiers exchange customer’s large bills for change in to smaller denominations or vice versa and guests redeem their slot cash out tickets for cash, verified through an automated system.
Work is performed in a large booth like atmosphere sometimes alongside another cashier.
Guest personal and payroll check cashing through a regulated system of approval.
Pays jackpots with proper paperwork.
Pays out daily promotions to guests as awarded.
Follow currency transaction reporting (Title 31) .
Casino cage cashier must balance their monies and paperwork at the end of every shift.
Required other paperwork should be filled out in their entirety and be accurate.
Must be able to obtain a gaming work card.
Guest interaction with a smile.
May be required to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Stand for long periods of time and work in a noisy environment where smoking is allowed.
Experience working in a casino's cashier cage and high school diploma required
