Cage Cashier

Job Overview: We seek a detail-driven Casino Cage Cashier for the Banc Club. This role requires excellent customer service, financial management, adherence to gaming regulations, and a commitment to doing things right the first time. No experience required. We will train you. Schedule is FT - Wednesday thru Sunday

Responsibilities:

• Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Assist guests with cash transactions, answer inquiries, and address any concerns or issues promptly and courteously.
• Follow Regulatory Guidelines: Adhere to all gaming regulations, including verifying the age and identification of customers, reporting suspicious activities, and following anti-money laundering protocols.
• Process Cash Transactions: Handle cash exchanges and accurately and verify the funds received and given to customers including ticket exchange, check cashing, and small change orders.
• Maintain Cash Drawer / Vault: Safeguard and balance the cash drawer before and after; throughout the shift, ensuring accuracy in calculations and recording transactions. Ensure Vault is balanced before and after shifts.
• Perform Accounting Tasks: Prepare reports, reconcile transactions, and maintain accurate records of all cash transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitoring Key Control Procedures: Responsible for ensuring that all key control procedures are followed correctly. Maintain logs to track the issuance and return of restricted keys, ensuring proper accountability.
• Maintain Cash Handling Equipment: Operate and maintain cash handling equipment, such as currency counters and coin sorters, ensuring they are in good working order.
• Uphold Security Measures: Adhere to strict security protocols and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information and transactions.
• Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as the casino floor staff, security, and surveillance teams, to ensure a seamless flow of cash operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Excellent Math Skills: Possess strong mathematical abilities to accurately count and handle cash transactions, perform calculations, and balance cash drawers.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in cash counting, transaction recording, and adherence to regulatory guideline
• Computer Literacy: Proficient in using computer systems, cash registers, and other software applications related to cash handling and accounting tasks.
• Integrity and Trustworthiness: Maintain a high level of honesty, integrity, and professionalism while handling large sums of money and working in a secure environment.
• Time Management: Ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist and interact with guests.
• Ability to do things right the first time.
• Common thinking skills, problem solver and general awareness of duties and concept as a whole.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in cash handling, preferably in a casino or financial institution.
• Knowledge of casino gaming regulations and anti-money laundering protocols is preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any required licenses or certifications as required by regulatory agencies.
• Must be a reliable person with the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Must pass a thorough background check.
