Responsibilities
- Conduct wildlife surveys and monitor animal populations using various field techniques
- Assist with habitat restoration projects including planting, invasive species removal, and land clearing
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and effectively during land management activities
- Support pest control initiatives to protect native species and habitats
- Maintain equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed during all field operations
- Drive company vehicles to different project sites while adhering to safety standards
- Collaborate with team members on land management plans and project execution
- Document findings accurately and prepare reports on wildlife activity and habitat conditions
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in sales, pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is preferred
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other land management equipment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift or carry equipment and supplies as needed
- Willingness to learn new skills related to wildlife monitoring and habitat management
- Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently during all activities
