Catch-It Wildlife & Pest Control, Inc. is a fast-growing animal and pest control firm looking towards continued expansion in the Kansas City Metro and surrounding areas. Lawrence KS area as well. Proudly serving the Kansas City metro area since 1989.

We are always seeking energetic, self-motivated, professional individuals that may have experience in the trapping and/or pest control fields. If you are looking for a career opportunity with excellent growth potential, this is the place for you! This is a FULL-TIME position. This is not a seasonal job.

This is an entry level position that requires training and hard work. We only look for professional personnel. Beginning pay will be lower to start and then once the knowledge and skill is obtained the compensation follows.

Preferred Skills

Handyman - repairs structures.
No fear of heights - You must go where the pest go.
Trapping experience - Okay, so in this day and age it's rare.
Pest control experience - A plus, but again, not likely this was a required credit.
Good Communication skills - This is important.
Our customers rely on us for prompt, knowledgeable service.
They are stressed over their current problem.
You must be professional, patient and understanding.
Good physical condition - Anticipate daily ladder time.
Self-motivation - Once trained, you answer calls and manage your own day.
Good driving record - And you plan to keep this spotless.
Knowledge of KC area - You need to find the customer, fast.

Training

We will train the right individual to inspect structures for squirrels, raccoons, birds, bats, mice, etc., for infestation. You will learn correct trapping procedures to remove all birds and animals from residential and commercial properties, and to repair all damage they have caused.

Work Style

If you want to work outdoors, can handle a fair amount of independence, this may be the career for you. You will work weekends as needed. Our unique services are required year-round, but peak in the spring and fall with the change of seasons when pests become more active. This is the answer if you are not ready for a gray cubicle.

Requirements

Possess a valid driving record. Show a stable work history.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Be comfortable working with insects and various animals in a variety of environmental conditions and confined spaces.
Possess the physical ability to setup, use and work off of 32 foot extension ladders.
Be able to read and understand product labels.
Satisfactorily complete initial technical training and State Licensing requirements.
Pass a pre-employment drug test, motor vehicle, and criminal background check

Benefits

There will be a training period until you are able to perform the duties that are required of you. The training period will be on a lower rate of pay until you are able to do the work on your own.

You can average $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 annually and much more as you help us grow the business.

We provide a well-equipped truck (to take home), gas card, company phone & uniforms.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
