Duties
- Diagnose and repair irrigation system issues, including hydraulic and electrical components.
- Perform seasonal maintenance, adjustments, and system start-ups and shut-downs.
- Deliver professional, courteous service and clear communication to every client.
- Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and records.
- Manage time effectively to prioritize multiple service calls and meet deadlines.
- Work independently in the field while collaborating with team members as needed.
- Identify opportunities to enhance system efficiency and performance.
Qualifications
- Backflow certification required (available through employment), with a commitment to ongoing education in the irrigation industry.
- In-depth understanding of irrigation systems from both hydraulic and electrical perspectives.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with the ability to propose improvements or new ideas.
- Team-oriented attitude with flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
