Antique Store Associate – Part Time
Pay: $16.50–$17.50 per hour
Hours: 15–20 hours per week
Schedule: Afternoons, weekends, Sundays & Mondays
Location: Large, two story antique store with multiple vendor booths in Centralia, Washington
About the Role
We are a locally owned, large antique store seeking a dependable and customer-focused Antique Store Associate to support daily operations during busy periods. This role plays an important part in customer experience, floor organization, and supporting store flow in a dynamic, multi-vendor environment.
This is a collaborative retail position that works closely with a keyholder and other support staff during assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service in a large retail space
- Assist customers in locating booths, items, and features throughout the store
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor
- Straighten and refresh displays as needed
- Support fitting rooms and customer flow during busy times
- Assist with light inventory preparation and merchandising tasks as trained
- Communicate questions or issues promptly to the keyholder
- Work effectively alongside staff and vendor helpers during peak hours
- Follow established store procedures and safety guidelines
Qualifications & Skills
- Reliability and strong attendance are essential
- Friendly, calm, and professional customer service style
- Ability to stay engaged and aware on the sales floor
- Comfortable walking and standing for extended periods
- Able to follow direction and prioritize tasks during busy moments
- Clear communication and teamwork skills
- Comfort working in a large two story retail environment
- Previous retail, antique, or customer service experience preferred
- Availability for weekends and peak shopping days
