Loar Group (NYSE: LOAR) is seeking an Operations Manager for one of its business units in the Northeastern US. Loar Group specializes in acquiring and growing companies that design and manufacture highly engineered products for the global aerospace and defense market. To date, Loar has acquired 20 niche aerospace and defense manufacturing businesses across the U.S. and Europe.
The Operations Manager will:
- Lead day-to-day manufacturing and operational activities across production and supervisory teams
- Drive on-time delivery performance while maintaining aerospace and defense quality standards
- Partner with Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain to resolve production constraints and improve execution
- Monitor and manage KPIs including on-time delivery, labor efficiency, and capacity utilization
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase throughput, efficiency, and cost performance
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO, ITAR, OSHA, and applicable customer/regulatory requirements
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and sustain operational performance
- Develop, mentor, and manage supervisors and production personnel
- Manage departmental budgets and operational spending
- Establish a consistent operating cadence around performance tracking, problem solving, and accountability

Requirements:
- 5–10 years of manufacturing or operations leadership experience
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments preferred
- Working knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality systems
- Familiarity with ITAR or other regulatory requirements in aerospace/defense environments
- Experience managing supervisors and production teams
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems
- Background in machining, assembly, fabrication, or precision manufacturing environments preferred
- Lean / Six Sigma experience preferred
Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
