What you’ll own:

You will be a key player in scaling our people and processes during this tremendous growth phase of the business. As our first business operations hire, you will have a unique opportunity to build and scale the function from the ground up.  You will be embedded in the GTM team, working directly with our CRO. You will also be a key part in working within a center of excellence driven by the CFO to ensure coordination, consistency, and shared problem-solving across the business.  Through the continual use of process development, data analysis and customer feedback you will continually iterate and improve our execution. You will work closely with product, sales, delivery, customer support and finance teams to create seamless sales, onboarding, implementation and ongoing customer experiences.

• Be the driving force behind optimizing our customer journey, working at the intersection of data, strategy, and execution, using data to identify friction points and implement solutions that accelerate time-to-value
• Design, document and implement scalable processes that maximize growth and performance, enable growth in sales and loan volume, and set both our customers and internal teams up for success
• Performance Insight Loop — Partner with BI, rev ops and finance to assess progress toward strategic goals, and course-correct when reality diverges from plan
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and optimize operational efficiency 
• Build and/or improve business processes and drive cross-functional alignment on priorities
• Identify, define, and execute high-impact operational and strategic initiatives across our GTM function
• Develop a strategic roadmap and internal processes to increase upselling including sales processes, product alignment, and enhanced partner engagement.
• Optimize our GTM playbook to improve top of funnel conversion, closing, and value delivery
• Provide support and accountability frameworks for CRO on strategic initiatives
• Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across all departments to ensure operational alignment and synergy
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to identify trends, pinpoint areas for improvement, and inform strategic business decisions.
• Identify blockers, streamline handoffs, and manage timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope

What you’ll need for success: 

• 5 years of experience; 3 years in management consulting, investment banking, operations, or private equity AND 1 year of experience at a startup in a strategy, finance, data analytics, or operations role
• Ability to jump into new situations and quickly solve problems, with an eye toward architecting and implementing solutions that will scale
• Translate complex, unstructured data and workflows into clear, standardized processes
  
• Apply business analytics, market research, and insights to support the decision-making processes for some of the most pivotal decisions facing the business
• Incredibly analytical.  Strong fluency in data analysis skills and tools, such as Domo, etc.  build your own dashboards, build your own pivot tables
• Significant expertise with Lucid Chart/Visio
• Experience in a highly cross-functional role and can clearly describe and work within the organizational dynamics of a fast-growth company
• Ability to operate at all altitudes – discussing strategy and vision with executives, and troubleshooting operations with individual contributors 
• T-shaped skills -- equally comfortable diving deep into financial minutiae and analyses, and zooming out to frame a high-level narrative
• You set a very high bar for yourself and for your team, and you are constantly pushing that bar higher in the pursuit of excellence
• Proven ability to work and thrive in
  rapidly changing environments
• An extreme degree of ownership and grit. You do not let go until a problem is solved for good.
• Ability to pivot and course correct operational plans in response to new data and evolving business needs
