What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Lending Associate position at Loan Code?
Loan Code is seeking a motivated Commercial Lending Associate to join our growing team in Birmingham, Michigan. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity ideal for a recent college graduate or early-career professional interested in commercial lending, banking, finance, or business.
Loan Code helps business owners and real estate investors secure financing for business acquisitions, commercial real estate, SBA loans, expansions, equipment, working capital, and other commercial lending needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Following up with new and existing leads
- Speaking with prospective clients and helping identify financing needs
- Scheduling calls and meetings
- Collecting financial documents and loan information
- Sending information and document requests
- Maintaining and updating client records in our CRM
- Following up with clients throughout the loan process
- Re-engaging previous clients and opportunities
- Building relationships with referral partners
- Assisting our lending team with active transactions
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A recent college graduate or early-career professional
- Professional, organized, dependable, and responsive
- A strong communicator
- Comfortable speaking with business owners and professionals
- Motivated to learn commercial lending and build a long-term career
A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, management, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Prior banking, finance, sales, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
- Compensation: $50,000 base salary performance bonuses employee benefits.
