Loadmaster Industries, Inc. is a Broussard-based integrated project delivery company serving the upstream oil and gas industry. We engineer, fabricate, and deliver structural steel solutions for some of the most demanding clients in the energy sector — including upstream drilling contractors, operators, and energy infrastructure companies across the Gulf Coast and beyond.

Unlike a traditional fabrication shop, Loadmaster brings engineering, estimating, project management, and fabrication together under one roof. We execute to our own engineering as well as client-furnished designs, giving us the flexibility to function as a true project partner — not just a vendor. Our work spans drilling rig structures, production facility components, offshore platform fabrications, and a growing range of industrial and energy infrastructure projects.

We are hiring a full-time Civil Engineer.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for performing structural steel design and design control operations following codes such as AISC, API 4F, API RP 2A, DNV, ABS

· Apply knowledge of engineering principles to design or upgrade different types of light or heavy steel structures for the upstream petroleum market

· Develop 3D structural engineering models

· Perform bolted and welded steel connection design per AISC

· Preparing technical documentation

Required Qualifications:

· Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English to interpret technical information, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with team members and customers.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

· 1 - 5 years of steel design experience

Preferred Qualifications:

· Knowledge of drilling operations and drilling structures

· Knowledge in at least one of the following software

Bentley SACS - Offshore Structures

Bentley STAAD – Structural Analysis & Design

SAFI - Structural Engineering Modules GSE or PSE

SAP 2000 – Structural Analysis & Design

ANSYS – Engineering FEA Simulation Software
